Report Summary

In March, the total market capitalisation of stablecoins increased by 4.24%, reaching $147 billion as of 15 March. This marks the sixth consecutive month of growth, achieving the highest market capitalisation for stablecoins since September 2022.

  • In February, stablecoin trading volumes on centralised exchanges (CEXs) grew by 5.14% to $1.09 trillion, the highest level since December 2021.
  • The trading volume of stablecoins on centralised exchanges rose by 5.17% to $1.09tn in February, marking the highest stablecoin volume on centralised exchanges since December 2021.
  • The market capitalisation of USDT rose 4.71% to $103.3bn in March. This is the first time a stablecoin has surpassed $100bn in market capitalisation.
